"Once I joined the Book League and attended the talks I realised that here was a variety of authors that came to speak...this group is like finding diamonds in your back yard."
"I think the benefit of joining the Suffolk Book League is that it is extremely good value for what it does. You get to hear well-known authors and speakers come and speak to you in the centre of Ipswich."
"Having studied English at university I originally joined the SBL because I wanted to pursue my interest in literature as well as meet like-minded people. My experience of literature and reading has since been greatly broadened and enriched through my involvement with this worthwhile charity."
"The SBL is for anyone who has a little spare time to explore their understanding of literature and reading further by listening to and meeting a diverse set of writers who share their experiences in an open, intelligent and engaging way. The charitable aim of the SBL also means that people get an indirect opportunity to give something back to their local community."
"Suffolk is very privileged to have such a flourishing society."
